How it works

Three steps from stuck to sorted

  1. 01

    Call or WhatsApp

Tell us what's happened and where you are. Tap “Send my location” and we get a map pin, so there's no guessing which road you're on.

  2. 02

    Get the price first

We work out the total with you and confirm it by text or WhatsApp before we set off. That's the price you pay. Nothing gets added at the end.

  3. 03

    We come to you

We jump it, test it, fit a new battery or load it up and take it wherever it needs to go: home, your garage or somewhere safe.

Why Roadvault

Premium service, honest prices

Breaking down is stressful enough. We keep everything else simple: clear prices, straight answers and proper care of your vehicle.
  • The price, before we move

Our rates are published right here, not hidden behind a callback. We confirm your total by text or WhatsApp before we set off, and that's what you pay.

  • We test, we don't guess

A flat battery isn't always a dead one. We test the battery and charging system on the spot, and we only recover your car if it genuinely needs it.

  • Kit for modern cars

Electric handbrakes, locked wheels, automatics stuck in park, even a car with no keys: we carry recovery skates and load carefully, so your car arrives as it left.

  • Straight answers

You talk to us, not a call centre. You get an honest arrival time and a clear idea of what happens next, even at 2am on the ring road.

Questions

Good to know

Anything else, just call or message us.
How much does breakdown recovery cost?

Daytime recovery is £85 call-out plus £2.50 a mile, counted from where we collect your vehicle to where we drop it off, and the first 5 miles are included. Nights & bank holidays are £135 plus £2.50 a mile, with the same 5 miles included. We confirm the total before we set off.

How quickly can you get to me?

It depends on where you are and what we're already doing. Across Nottingham we're often with you quickly, and we always give you an honest arrival time when you call, not a hopeful one.

Can you replace my battery at the roadside?

Yes. We test your battery and charging system, and if the battery's failing we supply and fit the right one where you are, including stop-start (EFB and AGM) batteries. Send us your reg and we'll give you an all-in price.

Do you recover motorbikes?

Yes, we recover motorbikes as well as cars. We secure the bike properly for the journey and take it home, to your garage or wherever it needs to go.

Do you fit tyres at the roadside?

Mobile tyre fitting is coming soon. Until then, if you've got a flat or burst tyre, we can recover you and the car to a tyre fitter.

I've got breakdown cover. Can I still call you?

Of course. Anyone can call us. We're pay-as-you-go, so there's no membership, and you just pay the price we agree before we set off.
